Straight answers from one band, for one city. Here is what moves the number, what never does, and what never shows up as a surprise on the invoice.
Bookings start at

Six musicians, up to three hours of live music, the PA, the lighting, a sound engineer and an MC. Within 45 minutes of downtown Charleston.
What moves it
Four things change the price. Nothing else does.
When
The date
Spring and fall Saturdays book up fast in Charleston and price accordingly. Planning a Friday, Sunday, or a date in December–February or July–August? Ask about off-peak pricing, up to 10% off depending on your day.
Who plays
The lineup
Up to three horn players. An instrumental trio for cocktail hour. Ceremony musicians, priced per player. Fees rise with band size, and each add-on is its own line. The Grand Affair also brings a photo booth with AI edits and instant sharing, and cold sparks for two moments, subject to venue approval.
Where
Travel
Included within 45 minutes of downtown Charleston. Beyond that, $500 per hour round trip, plus $1,000 lodging past two hours. Kiawah is usually inside the line; Savannah and Hilton Head are not.

Overtime
Priced per event rather than at a flat rate, because a late finish at a downtown house and one at a plantation are different nights. Ask when you book and we’ll confirm it for your date.
Not on the invoice
Things other bands charge for.
The five songs we learn for you cost nothing extra, and if your first dance is already in our book it doesn’t count toward the five. The MC costs nothing extra. The lighting and the sound engineer are not add-ons; they are how we work. Five songs is a ceiling rather than an opening offer, because it is what we can rehearse properly in four weeks.

Send your date through the form below. We reply within 24 hours with availability and a quote that lists every fee. A signed agreement and deposit hold the date; the balance is due before the event. If we’re already booked, we’ll tell you straight away.
